Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to paid franchise development advisory engagements with File Branch Base Consulting. No payments are collected through this website.
Eligibility
Refunds apply only to fees paid under a written engagement letter for advisory work such as readiness assessments, playbook projects, territory studies, or recruitment support retainers. Informational website content and unpaid consults are not purchasable items and carry no refund.
Timeframe
Cancellation requests should be sent in writing to hello@filebranchbase.click at least five business days before a scheduled on-site kickoff, or within seven days of fee payment if work has not started — whichever condition applies as stated in your engagement letter.
Full refund
A full refund of fees paid is available when we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control, or when you cancel in writing before work begins and before any kickoff materials are delivered.
Partial refund
If work has started — discovery interviews held, documents reviewed, or draft scorecards prepared — we may refund the unused portion of the fee after deducting time already spent at the rates in the engagement letter. Deposit portions marked non-refundable in the letter remain non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs already incurred with your approval (for example pre-booked travel outside Greater Bangkok), completed workshop days, and delivered written drafts are non-refundable. Monthly retainers already earned for a completed month are non-refundable.
Refund process
Email hello@filebranchbase.click with your engagement reference, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.
Processing time and method
Bank transfers in Thailand typically clear within three to ten business days after we initiate the refund. Card or other methods follow the provider’s timelines.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule on-site sessions once without fee if you give at least three business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling charge stated in the engagement letter. We will propose new dates in good faith.
Deposits and no-shows
Engagements may require a deposit to reserve advisory dates. No-shows for confirmed on-site days without timely notice forfeit the deposit for that day. Remaining unused fees are handled under partial-refund rules.
Work already started
Once analysis or drafting has begun, fees reflect progress completed. You remain entitled to receive work product already paid for, subject to confidentiality terms.
Purchased materials
Printed manuals or materials produced specifically for your brand after approval are charged as incurred and are non-refundable once produced.
